Charlie Hawks () was born in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. After an adolescence spent skiing and playing in the mountains, he moved to New York to study photography at Bard College. Upon finishing school, he assisted dozens of photographers across the industry while growing his own practice. After nearly a decade in New York City, Charlie relocated to Melbourne, Australia (AEST). His work now spans commercial and documentary realms, often melding the two to create campaigns and projects for global brands. His images are shaped by a strong sense of place, movement, and narrative. Charlie’s work keeps him in motion, traveling regularly between Melbourne, London, New York, Los Angeles, and Jackson Hole.
